DCA Week

The Pharmacy organized DCA Week from 13th to 17th Feb, 2019. It helped students to enhance their technical knowledge and bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical learning in real life environment. The students of D.Pharma and B.Pharma participated in the event.

Program Outcomes

• Postgraduates will acquire adequate scientific information regarding basic principles of Pharmaceutical and Medicinal chemistry, Pharmaceutics including Cosmetology, Pharmacology and Pharmacognosy. They will also have hands on training of practical aspects of Synthesis of APIs and its intermediates along with Formulation and Development, Analysis and Quality assurance of various pharmaceutical dosage forms including those of herbal origin as per standards of official books, WHO, and other regulatory agencies.

Lab Facilities

The objectives of this laboratory is to gain comprehensive understanding of principles of engine operation, examine its parameters, and analyse them. The laboratory is equipped with a variety of test rigs (diesel/petrol), an exhaust gas analyzer, a rope brake dynamo-meter, a cut part of an entire four-wheeler, and other modules for performing and studying the core of engineering. The facility is also equipped with a variety of studies, including an engine test setup that can accommodate blends and futuristic alternative fuels.

• MANUFACTURING TECHNOLOGY LAB
  • Manufacturing technology lab is fully equipped with all types of latest machineries and having the feasibility of doing experiments for projects and innovative works.

• AUTOMOBILE CHASSIS AND TRANSMISSION LAB
  • In Automobile Chassis & Transmission Lab, we have two stroke petrol and diesel engine, four stroke petrol and diesel engine, car chassis and transmission system for dismantling and assembling the parts and also know about the working of mechanism in automobiles.

• AUTOMOTIVE ENGINES LAB
  • In Automotive Engines Lab different types of automobile engines available like two stroke petrol and diesel engine, four stroke petrol and diesel engine, carburetor, etc. From this lab we can know about the dismantling and assembling of the engine parts and also testing the performance of four stroke petrol engine.

• CAD/CAM LABORATORY
  • Computer Aided Design & Manufacturing Lab have more than 50 numbers of systems for designing the machine component and simulating the programs for our requirement. Practice on CAD commands for 3D drawings, practiced on Solid Rendering, produce parts in CNC Lathe and Milling Machine.

Automobile Engg. is the branch of engineering discipline which studies the operating principles of the automobile by incorporating various elements of engineering such as mechanical, electrical, electronic, software and safety engineering. The study of automotive engineering is to design, develop, fabricate and testing vehicles & vehicle component from the concept stage to productive stage.
